Shopping Mumbai, India
It can’t seem to shake its nickname “Thieves Market”, but the unflattering title of this century-old bazaar is actually due only to an English pronunciation error. It’s so easy to get lost for hours upon end along the dilapidated alleys and antiquated buildings of this giant flea market. Get carried along amid the waves of people flowing through this city within a city on the lookout for unique finds. Chor Bazaar is also well known for its antique shops and stalls. On Mutton Street, for example, rummage through old photos of Mumbai/Bombay or Bollywood posters.
