Hua Hin Railway Station

Hua Hin Railway Station, the station for the Railway Hotel (now the Sofitel), was built by Prince Purachatra in 1921. Previously a royal pavilion in Sanamchan Palace, the wooden building was rebuilt at Hua Hin in 1968. Between train arrivals, visitors can take advantage of the extra time to explore the waiting area which is built in the style of a Thai pavilion, painted red and gold. This building is probably the most photographed building in Hua Hin. Step in this refined landmark: the whole railway station is open to visitors without a ticket.
