Art & Design Los Angeles, United States
The Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) is the city’s second cultural gem. Founded in 1979 in the heart of the Downtown district, the MOCA pays tribute to great American and international contemporary artists such as Andy Warhol, Diane Arbus, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Mark Rothko and Roy Lichtenstein. Divided into three sections – the Geffen Contemporary, MOCA Pacific Design Center and MOCA Grand Avenue – the museum is also a feast for the eyes due to its avant-garde architecture. Permanent collections and temporary exhibitions will delight the most demanding of art lovers with their incredible richness.
