The great diversity of its collections is what characterises this flagship New York museum. Fully renovated in 2004, the eclectic Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) enables you to admire the greatest masterpieces of contemporary art, among which include Impressionist paintings by Monet, Van Gogh, Cezanne, Matisse. Cubism, Expressionism and Surrealism works are also the hallmark of the 3rd and 4th floors, home to stunning pieces by Picasso, Chagall and Mondrian. Temporary exhibitions find their home on the top floor of the museum. MoMa’s human size enables you to visit the entire museum in only a few hours - although you could easily spend longer here. Make sure to stop by one of its cafes and its lovely sculpture garden. Lovers of visual arts will be overwhelmed by the impressive collections of nearly 200,000 sculptures, photographs, design objects, drawings and videos showcased throughout the museum’s 5 floors.
