Art & Design Brussels, Belgium
Royal Museum of Belgium
Concentrated around the Place Royale in Brussels, this collection of museums is the largest in Belgium. It explores the arts since the 14th century under different aspects. Opened in 2013, the Fin-de-Siècle Museum focuses upon life in Brussels between 1890 and 1914. On the same site, Old Masters presents the works of the North European schools (Bosch, Brueghel, Rubens, etc.) and the Museum of Modern Art (soon to move) showcases temporary exhibitions of pieces from its collection. A short distance away, the Magritte Museum enables you to discover the work of this Belgian artist in all its diversity.
