Shopping Paris, France
Two kilometres long, the most extravagant street in Paris invites you to wander past the most stunning temples to haute couture and luxurious multi-brand stores. Hermès, Yves Saint-Laurent, Cartier, Chanel, Lanvin, Sonia Rykiel, John Galliano, Sergio Rossi, Christian Louboutin ... each address glamorously competes with the next to boast the most beautiful window display. One of the most glamorous shopping districts in the world, the “Faubourg Saint-Ho”, as Parisians affectionately call it, is likened to the prestigious Fifth Avenue in New York. Continuing on to Rue Saint-Honoré, which boasts its own plethora of distinguished addresses (Goyard, Balenciaga, Longchamp…), this street is also home to embassies and official buildings including the Elysée Palace. In its many art galleries and antique shops, you can shop to your heart’s content: at Sotheby’s, Art France or elsewhere, you can discover paintings of all styles, as well as objets d’art and antique furniture.
