Shopping Montreal, Canada
Montreal’s underground pedestrianised network runs for thirty kilometres underneath the city. It is an extension of the metro network and connects sixty-three buildings, offices, nine hotels and ten university buildings far away from the bitterly cold Canadian winter. The Underground City, also known as RESO, was designed as a real city, and is also home to a huge range of 2,000 businesses in retail arcades like the Eaton Centre, the Complexe Desjardin, Simons and the Promenades Cathédrale. Montreal’s Underground City is a lovely place to visit, travel through or catch up on some shopping, and it’s the biggest underground network in the world, with a total of 190 entrances around the city.
